Questions we get asked most

Getting started

We're not sure exactly what we need. Can we still talk to you?

Yes, and most people who contact us are in that position. You might know that sales are slipping through the cracks or that month-end takes too long, without knowing whether the answer is an ERP, a better process or some automation. Tell us what's happening and we'll help you work out where to start.

What happens on the first call?

We ask about your business, how work moves through it today and what's getting in the way. There's no sales pitch and no obligation. If it makes sense to go further, we follow up with a short written recommendation covering what we'd suggest, why, and what it would involve.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the scope. A focused piece of work, like an ERP readiness assessment or a lead-generation setup, is quoted as a fixed scope. Larger projects such as a full Odoo implementation are priced once we understand your processes, users and data. Either way, you get a written proposal before any work starts.

How long does a typical project take?

A focused assessment usually takes a few weeks. An Odoo implementation can range from a few weeks for a small, standard setup to several months for a business with manufacturing, multiple companies or a lot of data to migrate. We'll give you a realistic timeline in the proposal, broken into phases.

What size of business do you work with?

Mostly growing small and mid-sized businesses: companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected tools, but don't want a heavy, enterprise-style project. What matters more than size is that you're ready to improve how things work.

What will you need from our side?

Mainly access to the right people. That usually means someone who can make decisions, plus the team members who do the work day to day. For ERP projects, we'll also need your existing data (customers, products, opening balances) and someone to test the system before go-live.

Odoo ERP

How do we know if Odoo is the right ERP for us?

Odoo works well for a wide range of businesses because it covers CRM, sales, accounting, inventory, manufacturing and more in one system. But it isn't automatically the right fit for everyone. We look at your processes and requirements first, and if Odoo isn't a good match, we'll tell you.

Should we use Odoo Community or Odoo Enterprise?

It depends on which features you need, how many users you have and whether you want Odoo's official hosting and upgrades. Community is free but has fewer applications. Enterprise is licensed per user and includes more functionality. We'll compare both against your actual requirements before you commit to either.

Can you move our data from Excel, Tally, QuickBooks or another system?

Yes. Data migration is part of most of our implementations. We help clean up and map your existing data (customers, vendors, products, stock and opening balances) so you start in Odoo with information you can trust, rather than carrying old problems across.

We already use Odoo, but it isn't working well. Can you help?

Yes. A lot of our Odoo work is fixing or improving existing setups. Common issues are workflows that don't match how the business operates, reports nobody trusts, poor adoption by the team and customizations that make upgrades difficult. We start with a review and then prioritise what to fix.

Can Odoo connect with the other tools we use?

In most cases, yes. Odoo can be integrated with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, shipping providers, messaging tools and other business software. We'll check what you use today and recommend what's worth connecting and what isn't.

Will our team be trained?

Yes. Training is based on each person's role and uses your own data, so people learn the tasks they'll actually do every day. We'd rather your team understands the system properly than have a perfect setup nobody uses.

What happens after go-live?

We stay involved. The first few weeks after go-live are when most questions come up, and we're there to handle them. After that, we offer ongoing support and optimization as your business and requirements change.

AI & Automation

What kind of work can actually be automated?

Usually the repetitive, rules-based work: copying data between systems, sending follow-ups and reminders, sorting incoming enquiries, preparing standard documents, and generating routine reports. We look for tasks that take up a lot of time but don't need much judgement.

Will AI replace people on my team?

That isn't the goal. The aim is to take the repetitive work off your team so they can spend more time with customers and on the work that needs their experience. In most projects, a person still reviews anything important before it goes out.

Is our business data safe when you use AI?

We treat it seriously. We decide with you which data an AI tool can and can't access, keep access limited to what each workflow needs, and choose tools that suit your privacy requirements. Your data stays yours.

Do we need to be on Odoo to use your automation services?

No. We can automate workflows around the tools you already use. That said, automation tends to work best when your core data lives in one well-organised system, so sometimes we'll suggest fixing that first.

Sales, Lead Generation & Marketing

Can you guarantee a certain number of leads or sales?

No, and you should be careful with anyone who does. Results depend on your market, your offer and how leads are followed up. What we can do is build a focused, measurable process, agree clear targets with you, and report honestly on what's working and what isn't.

Do you run paid advertising campaigns?

Yes. Performance marketing is one of our core services, covering campaign strategy, setup, management and ongoing improvement. Ad spend is separate from our fees and is paid to the advertising platform.

Who owns the ad accounts, data and leads?

You do. We set things up in your own accounts wherever possible, so if we stop working together, your campaigns, data and history stay with you.

We already have a sales team. How do you fit in?

We work alongside them. That might mean defining your ideal customer profile, improving messaging, setting up a cleaner CRM process, or building prospect lists and outreach that make your team's time more productive.

Working with Ganvexa

Do we have to replace the tools we already use?

No. We don't believe every problem needs a new system. Where it makes sense, we'll improve or connect what you already have. We only recommend replacing something when it's genuinely holding the business back.

Do you offer fixed packages?

For some common problems, yes. Focused engagements like an Odoo ERP readiness assessment or an AI and automation assessment have a defined scope. Other projects are tailored to your requirements.

How do we get started?

Send us a message through the contact page or book a conversation. Tell us what's happening and what you're trying to improve. We'll take it from there.

Didn't find your question?

Ask us directly. We're happy to answer, even if you're still early in figuring out what you need.

Ganvexa Consulting is about making business easier to run and easier to grow.

Businesses don't need technology for the sake of technology.

They need systems that help people work better, make information easier to access and create a clearer path toward growth. That's the thinking behind Ganvexa. We bring together ERP, sales, marketing and automation to help businesses improve the systems behind their day-to-day operations.

Have a business problem you're trying to solve?

You don't need to know exactly which service you need. Tell us what's happening, where you want to go and what's getting in the way. We'll figure out the right place to start.
